Handsome Furs cancel tour, though album is out
I was definitely excited for one or both of the Handsome Furs shows at Mercury Lounge this week, but unfortunately - they are not happening anymore - possibly due to border/VISA issues, though it is still unclear.
Oh well - it still should be noted though that their album Plague Park is out this week, and is definitely very interesting.

and not that it matters to you guys, but i'm working on getting my money back.
I would definitely be pissed. I see there are a couple Chicago dates at Schuba's with the Besnard Lakes, which I may try to attend if they can make it past the border police? Smuggling pelts? Ha ha ha.
Beautiful album, by the way, I can't get enough.
