I haven't had a chance to even listen to it all yet. I'm a little less enthusiastic about Deadstring Brothers this go-round. Call me sexist, but I kind of dug the chick as the backing vocal.
Treats on SYGC...Kelly Hogan and Nora O'Connor appear on the album, and from what I've heard (and seen live) I like these guys. Fun article about the band here:

Don't want to say much else without better listen through, though I'd like to hear your opinions when/if you get 'round to it.

- first two songs: snoozefest. yawn.
- remakes: ineffective and overpolished.
i like "blue hotel." i think this was on that willie nelson album and i like it more with the cardinals...sounds like the live version they do, which is what i want. a live album. waiting for box set....
