OHAI!!!!
I haven't seen Darjeeling Limited yet, but as always with Mr. Anderson's films, I am enjoying his use of The Kinks in the soundtrack. You can stream it here. Just click "Open Soundtrack" and you can pick the tracks you want to hear. Along with some very excellent Kinks songs (all from "Lola Versus Powerman and the Money-Go-Round (Part One)" I believe), there's a bunch of Indian music, a Rolling Stones track and some other stuff. Enjoy. And has anyone seen the movie? How is it?

the film is solid.
doh!
the film is solid. great quirky characters, dialogue and colors, in the standard wes way. don't expect rushmore or tenenbaums.
before taking your seat at the theater, check out the prequel--hotel chevalier--on itunes. it's free. and you see portman in the buff.
Whoa, no way! I had no idea there was a new Wes movie out! I thought his next film was to be some claymation movie, "The Fantastic Mr. Fox?"
i clearly have been living under a rock ... i had no idea he had a new film out! thanks for the heads up and the lo-down!
I dig the use of the Kinks as well, anyone who doesn't own the Kinks "Muswell Hillbillies," go out and buy it right now!! It's essential...along with everything else they put out.
